Hi, I’m Casie! (Pronounced like Kay-See)

Nice to meet you! I’m a 32 year old Stay at Home Mom of a One year old! Honestly, being a SAHM wasn’t the original plan, and my whole life, I always said I’d never be a SAHM. I’m a very social person and couldn’t see myself not having a job.
But once my daughter arrived, that all changed. I couldn’t imagine myself leaving my baby girl in the hands of strangers, even if we had picked out a good school. My husband started doing the paperwork for day care when he realized almost my entire paycheck would be going to child care! Which seemed kinda silly when you think about it being 4 babies to 1 teacher. So the decision was made for me to stay home. I’ll be real, life with only 1 income, a baby and 4 animals can get a little tough. But we’ve been making it work, and I’m so thankful to be able to be the one taking care of my child.
I have a long past of being in retail management. I thrive in an environment where I can lead others and be a team player. I was told my entire life I was born to be a leader. I’m hoping I can instill these skills into my daughter! For her to be brave, independent, and always willing to help other people!
Honestly, I don’t have many hobbies. I enjoy video games and nerdy things, anime, Pokemon, and Disney Movies. I never finished college, but I’ve tried to go back a few times. I really enjoy being creative, doing arts and crafts and digital design. Ice coffee over any other coffee.
How my family came to be
It all started with an app, a swipe and the following message, “Hows it goin”. No punctuation, but surprisingly, a response. This response led to a date, a hike and a picnic. Then the deletion of the app the next day.
What followed was pregnancy, a new house, a lost job. A beautiful baby girl, the light of our lives. Now here we are, enjoying the chaos of this beautiful life.
It started with one dog then a cat (may she RIP). Moving in together, then a trip to Nashville. An engagement ring and another dog. Followed by an additional trip to Nashville, a wedding and the spontaneous adoption of 2 cats before flying home.
